Monitoring and adaptation of the base of design precedents in the management of innovative projects based on a fuzzy ontological approach

The article analyzes the use of methods of reasoning based on precedents in the management of innovative projects. On the example of electromechanical systems, the use of a fuzzy ontological approach is justified to represent the base of design precedents in the management of innovative projects at all stages of their life cycle. The approach allows for fuzzy granulation of the characteristics of the concepts of an ontological model, typify the process of determining the relevance between current design situations and design precedents solutions, analyzing and identifying typical adaptation options for the design use case base. To expand the possibilities of assessing the relevance between the current design situations and design precedents, it is proposed to use indices of fuzzy compliance, uncertainty in establishing fuzzy compliance and fuzzy inconsistency, based on the calculation of fuzzy relative distance. An original way of analyzing and identifying typical options for adapting design precedents, combining and removing irrelevant design precedents is considered. The process of monitoring the base of design precedents is based on a joint assessment of the values of the proposed indicators for design precedents and consists in checking the conditions for the occurrence of typical situations.
