Monitoring of learning outcomes of students in the technical university

The issues of assessing learning outcomes in accordance with the goals established by state educational standards are considered. The problems of organizing monitoring of the achieved level of competence development are highlighted using the example of the general education discipline “Foreign Language” at a technical university. Approaches to assessing the quality of education are presented. The scoring and rating systems used at two technical universities in the Siberian region are described. A model for monitoring learning outcomes is proposed, the need for its implementation and timely adjustment of the educational process to achieve the planned results is substantiated.
