Monitoring the sanitary and epidemiological situation in the territory of the Russian Federation

The article discusses the features of monitoring the sanitary and epidemiological situation on the territory of the Russian Federation. Its goals, methods and possibilities, as well as the scope of the results obtained are indicated. It is noted that the monitoring of the sanitary and epidemiological situation is based on the study of the interaction between living conditions and the existing level of health care processes in the country as a whole, as well as its individual territorial units. It is concluded that monitoring the sanitary and epidemiological situation in Russia makes it possible to identify and determine the conditions for changing the processes of health and disease of the population, as a rule, in the medium and long term, its results allow responding to the context and short-term certain situations.
