Moral maintenance of law enforcement operational activities before and during the FIFA 2018 world football championship (review of materials of the methodical meeting)

The review covers the tasks set for within moral and psychological maintenance of Law enforcement operational activities in the framework of providing measures of security and public order before and during the FIFA 2018 World Football Championship hosted by the Russian Federation. The authors focus on necessary persistent work with the personnel aimed to maintain moral psychological reliability in officers performing the duties in any circumstances, precisely in situations of provocative behaviour from individual fans and spectators. The issues of organization of psychological work in the territorial bodies of the Russian MIA are under discussion, including the experience of protecting public order during the 2017 FIFA Confederations Сup. The paper deals with relevant theoretical and methodological problems of organizing psychological work in Law enforcement agencies, directions of its development, improvements concerning methodical and legal organizational basis for socially-psychological studies among the staff of the Russian MIA.
