The Mordovian state university: renovation of functions and role in the ethnic-cultural development of the Finno-Jugral world

The article is devoted the investigation of problems of contemporary higher education system modernization of Russia on the example of the Mordovian state university named after N. P. Ogarev. There are determined the ways and perspectives of regional ethnic-cultural development and the role of MSU named after N. P. Ogarev in this process.
