Conditions belonging to the group of cerebrovascular diseases (CVD) include acute and chronic forms, characterized by signs of insufficient blood supply to the brain and disorders of a number of cerebral functions, including motor, sensory, cognitive, vegetative and others, which remains an important medical and social problem to date. The degree of damage to brain neurons largely determines the prognosis of the disease and the level of a number of health indicators of the population, including life expectancy, morbidity, disability and mortality.
