The main goal of our research was to study the cardioprotective effect of glycyrrhizic acid in an experimental model of myocardial damage in rats. Rats I of the experimental group for 14 days, prior to the administration of adrenaline, received glycyrrhizic acid with the feed, daily, in a dose of 50 mg / kg. Rats II experimental group, once injected adrenaline. The III experimental group of rats was the control. After 24 after administration of adrenaline, 5 rats from each group were decapitated, myocardium was taken for immunohistochemical studies. Immunohistochemical studies were performed using primary polyclonal antibodies: ММР 9, TIMP 2, Gata 4. Paraffin sections were used to calculate the area occupied by collagen fibers during Van Gieson staining. Cell counting was carried out in 22 fields of view of each block of each sample at * 200 magnification.
