It was shown that in puppies of hypotrophy, the structural and functional state of the bone tissue (femur) was characterized by the formation of lamellar structures, good mineralization of the main substance and chondrogenic osteogenesis. The microstructure of the bone tissue of puppies «dwarfs» was characterized by the immaturity of the lamellar structures of osteons with the expansion of the channels and the presence of endostasis with osteoclasts in them. A low content of osteocytes was revealed in the case of incomplete and uneven calcification of the bone substance.
