In recent years, there has been an increase in acute poisonings involving clozapine, a drug belonging to the group of atypical antipsychotics. While this medication is widely used worldwide for treating schizophrenia, manic syndrome, and other disorders, it is also employed for criminal purposes. Clozapine poisonings are characterized by high lethality, and such cases require forensic investigation. However, the morphological changes in clozapine poisonings are relatively nonspecific, complicating diagnosis. Therefore, it is crucial to comprehensively study organ changes in multiple systems to diagnose corresponding poisonings and establish their timing.
