The article studies the direct dependence of inflammatory process degree in the wall of small intestine and a stage of intestine insufficiency in patients with intestinal obstruction. It is found out that if purulent infiltrate spreads on the whole thickness of intestinal wall the reactive hyperplaziya of lymphoid tissue and mucous epithelium secretory potency decreases.
