Morphological features of the udder of ewes

On ewes of a different genotype and level of dairy efficiency the basic morphological signs of an udder and nipples are studied. It is established, that highly productive animals are characterised by shorter and less deep udder, longer and the thick dummies at the form of an udder which is coming nearer to the cup form. Change of a direction of efficiency of ewes does not call essential changes of measurements and the udder form.
