Morphological, Syntactic Features of Hydronimy in Naryn Region

Бесплатный доступ

The study will analyze the grammatical structure of hydronyms in Naryn region. Such linguistic features of the region's hydronyms like simple, complex, affixed, non-affixed hydronyms will be identified, and the methods of syntactic connection in them will be considered. The vocabulary and morphological structure of each language are not uniform. The structure and linguistic composition of toponyms are also diverse. This raises the question of what factors influenced the linguistic structure of geographical names. Language is influenced, firstly, by historical events (invasions, campaigns, migrations, cultural exchange); secondly, by natural conditions (relief, climate, flora and fauna); thirdly, by language contacts (interaction with other peoples), etc. The study of the grammatical structure of toponyms is an important part of toponymy as a science. Therefore, studying the structure, morphology, semantics, etymology, and language layer of geographical names helps to understand the history, culture, and language connections of a nation.
