Morphology and characteristics of chemical composition in monazite of carbonatites of the Kosyu massif (Middle Timan)

Microprobe studies as well as scanning electron microscopy allowed estimating the morphological and chemical features of monazite and receiving information about its relationship with the rock-forming and ore minerals. The significant variations in the chemical composition of monazite were marked. Different morphological types of its varieties were shown, three main varieties of the mineral were identified.
