Sea oil and gas production: economic aspects of emergency situations and accidents

Features of development of offshore and sea oil and gas fields are considered. The analysis of amounts of losses from accidents on regions of sea oil and gas developments, with differentiation on pipelines and platforms is made. For the North European region amounts of losses are estimated in relation to components of systems of production and transportation of oil and gas. Methodical approaches to an economic evaluation of consequences of emergencies and an expected profit of oil and gas trade taking into account risk of emergency situations and accidents are offered.
