Motivation and value orientations of students of professional educational organizations, members of youth and social movements

The article is devoted to the study of the motivation and value orientations of students of professional educational organizations that are members of youth and social movements. The study of this problem allows us to analyze the motivational factors and values that determine the participation of students in various public organizations, which can later become the basis for developing effective methods for unlocking the potential of students in society. In this paper, the concept of motivation and value orientations is considered, the main approaches are presented (activity, subject-personal, system-structural axiological and competence-based). Value orientations (honesty and justice, love for one’s profession, self-development and learning, social responsibility) and motivation (compensatory, personal growth, idealistic, gaining benefits, as well as philanthropy, campaigns to protect social justice, mutual assistance and mutual assistance, self-government) of students, participating in youth and social movements, are described.
