The article deals with the problem of students’ motivation of professional adaptation in a foreign language department. The authors review methods, factors and preconditions for development of the students’ motivation of vocational adaptation in a teachers’ training higher school. The article describes the aim of the special course “Relevant problems of young people. Vocational self-determination”, which is the development of the vocational self-conception of the future professionals.
