Motivation of older age groups to participate in the workforce

The article presents the results of a study of the problem of motivation of elderly people acting as a potential labor force in the labor market in the context of structural demographic changes. The analysis of the age structure of those employed in various spheres of economic activity is carried out. The main motives that motivate the labor activity of the older generation are revealed. Measures are proposed to increase the motivation of pensioners to participate in the workforce.
