Effective motivation of personnel is one of the most significant factors of competitiveness of modern organizations. The article analyzes such categories in management staff as "motivation", "work motivation". The concepts are given, basic concepts, methods and forms of motivation of labor activity, the basic models of personnel motivation are considered.
