Choice motivation of treatment method and osteosynthesis type for femoral comminuted fractures

The retrospective analysis of 54 clinical observations of surgical treatment of femoral comminuted fractures is given in this article. The peculiarities of segment anatomical structure, variety of destruction planes and fragmental shapes determine the choice of osteosynthesis type. Combined variants of fracture fixation which, in authors’ opinion, should be considered as independent operative techniques are preferable.
