Can an idea of “united country” be a basis for civil identity of Russians?

The author researches a nation concept, and its correlation with a primordial root. The article is based on the idea that considers inherent primordial features as an elite construction, and assumes that the Great Patriotic War could be a spiritual symbol of the Russian nation.
