Flour from nettle in the diet of parental herd chicken

This article presents the results of research for using the flour from nettle in the diet of of parental herd chicken. Research has shown the increase in egg-laying hens in the period of experience upon the average of 3,24-9,27%, egg weight at 0,8-2,15%, shell thickness of 0,28-4,17% compared to the control. The significant increase in the content of carotenoids, vitamin A and B2 in the yolk of eggs during commissioning of feed the parental herd chickens with meal nettle is noted. The inclusion in the diet of parental herd chickens the 4% flour nettle has most positive effect both on egg production, and the quality of eggs.
