The Muslim civilization and its components at the present stage

Islam is the youngest of the three monotheistic religions after Judaism and Christianity. It is based on the revelations received by the Prophet Mohammed in the period from 610 to 632 and collected later in the Koran. In addition to the Qur'an, the basis for the faith and way of life of every Muslim is also Sunnah - a collection of legends about the Prophet, which appeared during the first centuries after the death of Mohammed. The number of Muslims in the world, according to estimates of 2010, is about one billion six hundred million people, they are settled in all five continents.
