The article deals with the Church the meaning of courage as the dominant manifestation of the higher spiritual powers of man in his life. The author characterizes the spirituality of man as a unique state of the immortal soul, which, according to the Creator's plan, according to his ability, and beauty is more valuable and more beautiful than the whole universe because it can be improved indefinitely. Based on this provision, the author argues that human morality as a property to make seemingly noble deeds does not mean it stable spiritual life position, which could be evidence of the beauty of his soul. From the point of view of the author, the beauty of the soul manifested in the courageous struggle of man for his spiritual perfection. In this regard, the article defines the concept of courage, both to the spiritual. At the same time, the author criticizes the common idea of courage, as physical strength and ability to endure suffering and death because at any time a person can change the direction of their heroic deeds on the opposing goal if its vital functions is not based on spirituality. The author proposes to use the open meaning of courage in the spiritual - moral education of youth.
