Pre-Scythian male graves with ceramic sets at the Zayukovo-3 cemetery

The paper examines two Koban graves containing sets of ceramic vessels at the Zayukovo-3 cemetery in Kabardino-Balkaria. Presence of a set of vessels including goblets, a mug and a large earthenware ewer as well as chronological markers of the pre-Scythian period (a bronze diadem with an iron rivet and a plate with a cross-shaped ornament) among funerary offerings in one of the graves suggests that both graves are dated to a transition period from the pre-Scythian time to the Scythian time.
