Music journalism in the social and cultural processes

The article deals with the peculiarities of music journalism in modern conditions. In modern philological and cultural sciences there is no complete study of musical direction in journalism, and the number of actual musical quality media is low. The reader is query to musicological publications and programs. Music Journalism - a complex phenomenon, which has a dual nature, it is correlated with the proper philological and culture-categories. On the one hand, music journalism - an absolute component of social and cultural activities, which is understood as the diversity of individual and social activity in the sphere of culture. On the other hand, music journalism can and should be considered in the paradigm of special philological disciplines. The position of music journalism at the intersection of cultural studies and philology imposes a special responsibility on the people engaged in this activity, and at the very specificity of this activity.
