Musical folklore as a carrier of the Russian cultural code

The study of folklore contributes to the preservation of national culture. Currently, the study of the foundations of folk culture and its deep spiritual content remains one of the relevant topics in the spread and preservation of folk traditions. The paper discusses the process of children's acquisition of folklore in educational institutions and efforts to adapt folk festivals and folk cultural traditions to the contemporary cultural context.
