Ear training as a component of musical aptitude in vocal-choral activity

The article presents the results of the analysis of ear training’s studies and its importance for vocalchoral activity. The article shows that ear training is a structural component of musical aptitude in vocal-choral activity. In particular, it specifies the correlations of descriptions of manifestations’ features, as well as varieties of this phenomenon. The received results of the theoretical analysis testify to the importance of the development of ear training in the vocal-choral activity of gifted students.
