The article deals with A. Schuetz’s sociological version of the phenomenological reduction, which is bracketing the research theses concerning the social historic world. The social science is considered to research not the outside world’s objects, but actions and consciousness of individuals, which constitute the meaning of the reality. Thus, the meaning does not inherently accrue to an object as a thing-in-itself, but it requires creative constitution.
