“Thinking dialogue” as life of philosophy

The paper shoes that history of philosophy may present itself as narration about the achievements of philosophy or as a real process of their generation. In the first case philosophical works of the past appear to be the products of culture which need perception, while in the latter case they become the participants of the “thinking dialogue” thus gaining new sense.
