N. М. Karamzin in 1812

The article shows the life chronicle of N. M. Karamzin in 1812 (a difficult year in Russia) and backcasts the important stage of his spiritual biography. The article uses the letters of N. M. Karamzin to I. I. Dmitriev; to his brother V. M. Karamzin, Prince P. A. Viazemskii and the unpublished letters to his wife Catherine sent from Tver and besieged Moscow.
