Beginning of the research of Old Moscow Trackt-5 settlement (north-western part of Baraba forest-steppe)

The article examines the materials of Old Moscow Trackt-5 settlement (Vengerovo district of Novosibirsk region), obtained during excavations of 2016. Based on the planigraphic analysis results are proposed to consider the dwellings № 1-11 of Old Moscow Trackt-5 settlement and dwellings № 1-7 of Old Moscow Trackt-4 settlement within a single system of constructions located on the floodplain terrace of the Tartas river left bank. The ceramic complex is divided on the 12 groups, similar to some of the cultural complexes of the Neolithic and Early Metal periods in the Middle Irtysh and Baraba regions (Boborykino, Kokuy, Artyn, Ekaterininskaya cultures, the Comb-Pit community). The specifics of the stone industry is the presence of raw materials, prismatical nucleuses, abrasives and polished tools, predominance of retouched blades, a large number of scrapers on slivers and presence of scrapers on the plates. The nature of the filling and the сhronostratigraphy of the finds indicates at least two stages of the use of dwelling № 6. The Neolithic age of pottery group 1 is substantiated. There authors note the debatable character of cultural and chronological attribution of ceramics groups 2-12 within the Neolithic and the Paleometal Epochs.
