Resume: In this article, the author distinguishes the pedagogical period in the history of the study of cursive ABCs of Russia of the 17th - early 18th centuries. Also in the article are scientists and their works developed in this mainstream of the study of the evolution of ABC books and their features. It should be noted that before the period of the pedagogical study of the ABCs, the proper attention was not paid to the study of the ABCs, which allows us to talk about the relevance of this article. The result is that this article gives an analysis and a general conclusion on the pedagogical study of cursive alphabet letters.
