The article considers the alienation of church, monastery and datsan lands, the nationalization of religious property, regulation of the clergy taxation, the struggle against the influence of the clergy on the local population. Resolutions, decrees, declarations and legal instruments for the suppression of religious organizations, activities of local authorities against the lamas and datsans. The categories of clergy, restriction of activity of church associations, anti-religious propaganda of the government are considered.
