National and cultural identity in a globalized reality

The article considers the problem of formation and preservation of national cultural identity in a globalizing reality from the point of view of some existing concepts. Active Western culture dissemination on a global scale creates the danger of loss of national identity, its replacement by other forms of identity. As a result, not only some specific features of the communities are lost, but there are also a number of negative consequences, both for individuals and for nations as a whole.
