National and cultural specificity of emotive praseological units

The emotive component of meaning of the phraseological unit is defined as a semantic category that can express national and cultural identity. The material for the study of the emotive component was the authentic texts of works by contemporary French writer FR. Sagan "Un certain sourir", "Aimez-vous Brams?", "Bonjour tristesse!". The analysis revealed that these phraseological units reflect cultural identity through the predominance of certain lexical units.
