National and cultural sense of existence through the concept of soft and hard power

The concern of excessive metaphorization of modern humanities is given; familiar notions activity and inactivity, the use of which can be more efficient in comparison with a developed notion of soft and hard including in solution the problem of search of national, civilizational and general cultural sense of existence, are given. Special attention is paid to the tailing in modern world and notional consequences of the process.
