Nation-oriented discourse in the social-media space of Belarus: substantive, structural and social-demographic aspects

The article is devoted to a comprehensive analysis of the formation process of national-state identity in the social mediasegment of the information sphere of the Republic of Belarus. By means of discourse analysis and cybermetric analysis based on network and constructivist approaches, the authors study the characteristics of a nationally oriented information flow in the Belarusian media field, mainly, its substantial (semantic) features.The paper reveals the structural elements of communication within the audience (content producing entities and its consumers), aimed at a radical transformation of the process of belarusianization of the cultural, historical and political space of the Republic of Belarus, as well as the gender, age and regional characteristics of representatives within the framework of a nationally oriented discourse. Based on the data obtained and their interpretation, the authors have identified the main characteristics of the elements of formation and promotion of the Belarusian "national myth", contributing to the accelerated completion of the construction of Belarusian national-state identity
