National approach to the teaching of Russian as a foreign language abroad (evidence from Korean universities)

The article discusses the concept of a national approach to the teaching of foreign languages in the abroad context. On the example of teaching Russian as a foreign language in the Republic of Korea, the author analyzes the conditions and optimization methods of teaching Russian language. It is concluded, that the national approach is a comprehensive approach because, on the one hand, it is based on the ideas of communicative and sociocultural approaches, and on the other hand, it allows to take into account didactic factors, which have a great influence on language learning in the abroad context. Therefore, this approach should be the leading approach to the teaching of Russian as a foreign language abroad.
