The national delimitation of Central Asian republics in the activities of Central Asian Bureau

The article refers to the national policy of territorial demarcation in the territory of the Soviet East in 1924-1925. It has caused a series of discussions between the Soviet leadership and the local population. The evaluation of these events is extremely ambiguous, and even at the present time border disputes on a national basis erupt in Central Asia. In this regard, it is relevant to consider the reasons and goals of this political campaign, implemented by the Central Asian Bureau of the Central Committee of the CPSU(b).
