The world’s largest economies, members of the G20, are gradually introducing digital currencies of their Central Banks (CBDC). Faster, more transparent and safer contractual services can bring certain benefits to citizensand the economy of countries as a whole, ensuring stable economic growth, support for international trade and globalization. This paper analyzes national digital currencies that have already been introduced or officially presented: their advantages, origin, experience and result of use. New opportunities in the field of contractual relations in general, which are provided by the introduction of National digital currencies, are also analyzed. The author concluded that the high efficiency and transparency of transactions, the availability and decentralized nature of National Currencies of National Banks make the National Digital Currency a successful alternative to paper and electronic money in the global financial market in the field of contractual relations.
