National stereotypes in the literature world (on the example of Z. Smith's novel “White teeth”)

This article examines the role of stereotypes in the modern postcolonial novel. Modern world literature uses various types of stereotypes, so that multiculturalism in literature is a new trend, without which the literature of the 21st century cannot exist. The stereotype becomes not only a key factor in creating the inner world of a modern literary work, but also a kind of artistic tool, the correct use of which leads to the creation of unique characters in the novel.
