The article discusses the importance of the processes of employees' recruitment focused on the effectiveness of the company. The difference between the personnel department of an enterprise and the human resources department is considered. The authors describe the most popular ways of recruitment (selection among college graduates, placing ads in the media, employment by using company's own resources, recruitment of other company personnel, use of the services of private recruitment agencies). The paper also considers standard and non-standard (graphology and others) methods of personnel selection from the candidates who responded to the vacancy.
