Visual-active thinking in children of preschool age with mental development delay of residual organic genesis

It is shown that children of older preschool age mental development delay of residual-organic genesis show a lower level of development of visual-active thinking in comparison with peers with speech development disorders and peers with conditionally-normative development. Children with mental development delay in the performance of tasks mainly use the strategy of the type of «trial and error». Also, in this category of children, violations of the neurodynamic component of activity are detected, namely, fatigue and decrease in tempo characteristics (deceleration of activity) when performing diagnostic tasks.
