The paper describes the hanging seal of the 15th century (Fig. 3) fromthe excavations of the unfortified settlement of Skripino-1 located in the Ramenki districtof the Moscow Region carried out in 2013-2014. The period of functioning of thisunfortified settlement is dated to the Late Middle Ages, i. e. the 14th-16th centuries (Fig. 2),some excavated items date back to the Medieval Russia period. i. e. the 12th-13th centuries.The find in question is referred to the group of Pskov hanging seals used in businesstransactions in Pskov in the mid-14th century. It appears that the discovered seal was usednot according to its primary purpose, but as a pendant.
