Man nomination in the aspect of marriage in Perm dialects

The article is devoted to the analysis of man nomination in the Perm dialects from the perspective of being or not being married. Language units with the meaning a “married man”, “married woman”, “bachelor”, “spinster”, “ woman who has not been in religiously (officially) married”, “divorced woman” and “divorced man” are analysed. The motivation of the words, forming the groups, is revealed. The lexical and phraseological units reflect the attitude of the dialect speakers to family life and their concept of Marriage. The described data revealed the changes which took place in the traditional family in the XXth century.
