The results of research concerning changes in acid-base properties of the surface of wood flour made from different wood species through modification by silica sols are shown. It is found that reducing the concentration of acid sites on the surface of wood flour enhances its adhesive interaction with PVC. Nanomodified wood flour was used to produce wood-plastic composites based on polyvinyl chloride with a high degree of filling.
