Directions of state policy in Russian industrial sector

All companies in manufacturing industry are important elements of the economy of any country of the world. They have a significant impact on the level of the productive forces of society. Due to the current political situation and in the context of globalization in recent years there are a number of favorable factors for the development of industry and the revival of some of its directions. So, due to the import substitution, a wide variety of programs and innovative projects are developing now, but at the moment there is no unity and complexity of ongoing activities. Due to the fact that the production sphere is very knowledge-intensive and requires huge investments, without investing of foreign partners, and the private sector, the further development of the sector can''t be possible. This paper considers the dynamics of the industry in Russia, analyzes the impact of industry on GDP indicators, determines factors of the competitiveness of the industry, and measures the investment and state support of the production sphere.
