Directions and mechanisms of industrial services development in the context of economic modernization: the example of the Republic of Belarus

This article is devoted to the problems of development of industrial services as an integral part of modern manufacturing, specializing in the output of high-tech products with a high degree of individuality. The author gives the definition of industrial services as an economic category and their classification, highlights the main features. The author also studies the peculiarities of the development of industrial services in the conditions of ongoing technical and technological modernization of the Belarusian economy, aimed at faster growth of high-tech and knowledge-intensive industries, the increase of the efficiency of industrial enterprises, the qualitative improvement of the productive capacity. The importance of industrial services for the various spheres of national economy has been described, which allowed to develop the principle of priority development both in respect of industry, and services, which should determine the directions and tools for further development of these services.
