Directions for optimizing procedures and instruments for interaction between local government bodies and public associations (case of the Omsk city)

The relevance of this study stems from the significant potential of third sector struc-tures in addressing issues of regional socioeconomic development. Public associations, as key civil society institutions, exert significant influence on public authority and interact with political, economic, and sociocultural institutions. This article examines the role of public associations as dynamic participants in municipal governance, as well as their function as key communication channels between the public and government. The focus of this scientific analysis is the activities of such associations within the local government system. The study focuses on specific forms and tools that facilitate partnerships between municipal government structures and these civil society institutions. The key objective of this work is to develop a set of practical proposals aimed at in-creasing the effectiveness of cooperation between local governments and public associations.
