Directions of reducing the differentiation of public service of big cities in Russia

Research is devoted to the study of public service as one of the most important spheres of a city. We study Russian cities which population is about one million people. Research data includes: government''s documents of 13 cities (2011-2014), reports of Federal Treasury on execution of the Federal budget in 2014, the consolidated budget of the Russian Federation, revenues and expenditures of local entities in 2014, the structure of consumption expenditure of Russian households in the selected period. According to data, an analysis of the volume of social spending and indicators in Public Service (health, education, housing, culture and sport), Russian cities were distributed according the level of development of the Public Service Sector and the best city was identified.
